The state of Arizona offers many shelters and other forms of protection for those in need. There are emergency shelters, rapid rehousing, street outreach, and homeless prevention programs. All employees and volunteers working with these programs will need to submit a Level 1 fingerprint clearance card along with their initial application. This will be used to complete a background check. If you have any previous convictions your application may be denied for the safety of those in the shelter.
