The state of Arizona requires permits for many different jobs and activities. Permits are usually required when there is a higher risk to the job, or it takes a professional to be done properly. Some examples are building permits, vending permits, electrical permits, mechanical permits, plumbing permits, transportation permits, special event permits, and many others. Some of these jobs will require individuals to go through a background check during the application process. This can require people to submit a copy of their fingerprints along with their application.
